Recognizing Dissociation is the Key to Healing

Satanists have managed to penetrate the mental health community long enough to perpetuate the myth that dissociation is very rare. As a result, well-meaning professors and practicing mental health professionals believe this and therefore don’t expect to see it and may not recognize it when it manifests before them. This has effectively kept people from learning about cults and what they do because it is the dissociated parts, acknowledged by very few, who hold the memories.
My approach to the ministry is totally opposite. When a deeply troubled person with lots of emotional issues comes to me for help, I am quick to assume they have dissociated, and that the parts hold the keys to the person’s healing. The dissociated person who was abused since infancy often doesn’t recognize their own dissociation because they think what they experience mentally is normal due to the fact they have experienced nothing else.
With this knowledge, once I have established a relationship with the person based on God’s love and trust, I often begin to address the parts even though I have not seen any definitive evidence of them. First I ask the presence of Jesus to be with us and to be the one in charge of all we do. I acknowledge that only he can heal. Then I start talking to the parts and telling them that Jesus is present with us and wants to help them. I will tell them what he is like—gentle, kind, good and yet more powerful than the Devil ever dreamed of being. I just talk kindly and reassuringly to them for awhile. I may ask Jesus to bring a part up into the person’s conscious mind and encourage her/him to let us know what happened.
After a period of time, a part will often speak to me or speak internally to the host person (the one in charge of the body at this particular time). If the latter is the case, the host will tell me what the part is saying. This is where the deep healing begins to take place.
I have certain goals I want to achieve on behalf of this part to facilitate their healing in one session. These goals are explained in a separate article.
Many times I have seen persons who have been to psychologists and therapists and received diagnoses such as schizophrenia, borderline disorder, bipolar and so forth. They were medicated for their “disease,” but that is not the answer. It just puts a Band-Aid on the wound and makes them dependent on pharmaceutical companies and doctors. Can the reader see how this plays right into the hands of the cultists? It channels the money into their coffers and no one learns about what really goes on in their rituals. When you start speaking with the parts in the suffering person, you’ll learn in detail what really goes on and the person will be able to heal.
As I have stated elsewhere, I have had no formal education for this ministry. (I hold a BA degree from the University of Indianapolis.) All I had was a relationship with Jesus Christ and his call on my life to minister to abused persons. I learned firsthand that Christians with a relationship with God and his call on their life are the ones who can minister to the multitudes (yes, multitudes!) of abused people in our midst (and they ARE all around us).
My book, Dissociation Revealed and Healed in Scripture, clearly shows the internal workings of the mind during dissociation, shows how co-dependency begins and then fails, and how through relationship with God we can come into the full-stature life of the Lord Jesus Christ.
