This Mortal Puts On Immortality: Introduction

As a Christian living in the end times you have an opportunity to enter into the glories of God’s kingdom even while on earth—an opportunity that was not available to even the greatest saints of past ages. The Book of Revelation that begins with John on the Isle of Patmos (with Patmos meaning “mortal”) ends with him seeing the New Jerusalem, a place of immortality, which has come down out of heaven. The process of going from mortality to immortality is revealed through an inward interpretation of the Book of Revelation. Revelation when outwardly interpreted shows great destruction on the earth, but when interpreted inwardly it reveals how God will bring his people into absolute perfection. These two things will be happening at the same time as we progress deeper into the events of the end times.
This New Jerusalem is even now descending from heaven onto the earth but spiritual eyes are required to see it. I have seen it and am entering into it more and more each day. This has only been possible because the tangible presence of Jesus came to me in February of 1997 and has never left. “Tangible” is from the Latin tangere which simply means something that can be touched or felt. I feel his presence constantly and his touch many times a day. Jesus wants to come to all his people in this way. He allowed me to experience this initially so I could discover it in the Scriptures and write about it. In this way, others will understand what is happening when they have this experience.
When the presence of Jesus comes to you in this way, he will communicate with you many times a day. Through this communication you will have a constant awareness of his great love for you and also his loving judgment of all that you think and do. This will bring you to a depth of perfection that has never before been possible. All you need to do is hear and obey. God will do the work in you that will ultimately bring you to perfection and full redemption of spirit, soul, and body.
In this book you will see every verse in Revelation 4, 5 and 6 interpreted inwardly and allegorically consistent with the entirety of Scripture. The truths for the end times are thus revealed in context as each verse ties in with the next such that the entire revelation is gradually unfolded as only the Holy Spirit could orchestrate. Along with this I give my own experience as related to each new truth revealed in the Scripture.
We, as the people of God, must enter into this high place he has made for us to dwell in as the catastrophic events of the end times unfold because this will be the only place of safety. This high place does exist and it has been lovingly prepared for us, but it is up to us to enter. This will require letting go of our preoccupation with worldly pleasures and interests to pursue the pleasure of God’s presence and the interesting things he has to reveal to us in his Word. In this way we can be in the world but not of the world. We can walk above the disasters of life on this earth even though we are physically still here. This is what it means to be seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Here is what Art Katz had to say about this in his wonderful work entitled Apostolic Foundations:
God intended that those made in His image would live in the reality of heaven, even while on the earth. They are on it but they do not dwell in it. When the smoke clears at the very end of the age, in the eschatological climax, there will only be two species of mankind to be found on earth, and it has nothing to do with race, but with earth or heaven. Those who dwell in the earth, whose hearts fail them for fear of the things that shall be coming upon the earth—for that is all they know and all they look for and expect. All of their values are established in it. They are earthlings—and the other group are those who dwell in heaven. They may be on the earth, but it is not their place of habitation. Earth is not where they reside, but the place where they serve. Most of us as Christians are earthlings, moored in the earth, so bound by its gravitational tug, so connected by soulish ties of affection and investment in the earth. It will take a wrench of soul to ascend up into the heavenly place. (Katz)
Encourage yourself with the truths revealed in the following pages to enter into this high place in God such that when “the smoke clears” you will not be one whose heart fails you for fear.
