Unpacking the Mystery of the Sun-clothed Woman (Part 2)

Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars… (Rev. 12:1)
As Part 1 of this article “Unpacking the Mystery of the Sun-clothed Woman” explains, this woman represents individuals in the true church of the end times to whom Jesus has come personally and awakened the spiritual side of their being that died at the time of the fall. They now feel his presence continually and know he is communicating with them many times throughout their day. This will bring great comfort as the world continues to spiral down into an abyss of destruction and death that shakes the very foundations of our civilization.
In the crown of twelve stars we will see that the awakening of their spiritual side has awakened not only their spiritual body to feel God’s presence but also their spiritual mind. There are many things written in the Word that must be understood with a spiritual mind. Once the spiritual mind has been awakened, it must be developed through Bible study and prayer. A literal understanding of the Word via our natural mind gives us historical facts, a surface understanding of who God is and guidance for life, but underneath the surface of the Word lie heavenly truths that reveal more about Jesus, his second coming, heaven and the spiritual realm where demons and angels operate.
If we are to rule and reign with Christ, we must understand spiritual realities and be prepared to take authority over them. The crown indicates our spiritual authority and empowerment from God. The stars represent the spiritual revelations from God that illuminate our understanding of his Word. These two work hand in glove together. The more revelations we know, the more authority and power we have to rule over principalities and powers and the spirits of wickedness in high places. The more we become like Jesus, as his coming to us in this way enables, the more we can be trusted with the hidden wisdom in the Word and his power to rule in the spiritual realm. It is Christ’s will for us to “be encouraged in heart, knit together in love, and filled with the full riches of complete understanding, so that (we) may know the mystery of God, namely Christ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Col 2:2,3).
The more we know him the more we become like him such that through us he can minister to a lost and dying civilization much the same as he did when he walked among us two thousand years ago.
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure (1 John 3:2,3).
When I had this experience with God as described in my previous article about this sun-clothed woman, the Word was opened to me like never before. My daily experience was to spend my mornings studying the Bible and my afternoons ministering to satanically ritually abused persons. When Christ came to me in this way, it opened my understanding of his Word immensely. I realized that because of this awakening I could understand things in the Word that could only be understood after one has had this experience. Nevertheless, I still had to study deeply by looking up every word of a passage in the language in which it was written. I had to learn the spiritual meaning behind numbers. I had to pray for understanding. I learned that underneath the literal account I was reading there was another message regarding the end times and the second coming of Christ.
In my afternoons and sometimes evenings ministering to satanically ritually abused persons, I discovered far greater power over demons than I had had previously. For those who are unfamiliar with satanic ritual abuse (SRA), one major purpose behind satanic rituals is to get power from the Devil. These powers are actually demons. In the rituals, Satanists purposely do things to make sure the demons go into the innocent person who is being abused. These demons are considered powers that the abused person doesn’t even realize he/she has, but their abusers can access these powers from them through more abuse. Without going into a lot of detail, I say this because it is necessary for persons to understand that SRA ministry requires the casting out of demons. In the beginning of this ministry in 1986, it required sometimes forty-five minutes to cast out one demon, but now they come out in mere seconds and sometimes even during telephone ministry.
The deeper we go with Christ, the more of his authority he gives us to do his work. A major part of this work is setting people free from the clutches of the enemy. When Jesus walked among us, he used his authority over demons to deliver and heal people. Demons are still with us. It’s just that the church by and large doesn’t speak much about them. Mostly they are just ignored because people have believed the lies that Christians are impervious to demons or that demons were just a primitive understanding for mental illness. After thirty-six years of ministering to troubled people, which has included encountering and casting out demons, I can assure you that Christians most certainly can have demons and if they understood this, they could get victory in areas of their lives that seem to elude all their efforts to overcome.
A surprisingly large number of Christians in our churches today have been satanically ritually abused. They need deliverance ministry to get free, but also surprisingly, very few Christians cast out demons even though that was a major part of Jesus’ ministry and, therefore, should be part of ours.
We are living in the time of the end of life on earth as we have known it. This is the time of the harvest where we will see the greatest evil of all time manifesting but also the greatest good as Jesus Christ comes and ministers through his body which is his true church. Jesus explains this in one of his parables known as the tares and the wheat:
He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matthew 13:37-43)
According to Strong’s concordance, the Greek word for “angel” used here is “ang’-el-os; a messenger; especially an “angel”; by implication, a pastor:—angel, messenger.” I like to think that angels in the above passage refer to all three—messengers, angels, and pastors. As we are perfected in Christ, I believe we will see into the heavenly realm around us, and as messengers and pastors we will work together with the angels to accomplish God’s plans for the harvest. The Lord can trust us with this powerful ministry because we will be under his perfect divine government as revealed in the number twelve.
In summation of the crown with twelve stars, it can be seen that we will be given God’s authority (crown) because we are submitted under his divine perfect government (twelve) that works together with his divine revelations from the Word (stars). These revelations can be uncovered and understood now that we are spiritually in this place with God where, rather than using these things for our own gratification, we will only live and move and have our being in service to God and our fellowman.
Only by God, working in and through his people, will the whole creation and humanity be saved from the diabolical schemes of the Devil. Jesus Christ won the victory for us 2000 years ago and now we will see and rejoice as we participate in the final actuation of this glorious victory.
