The Man of Lawlessness, plus Prophecy
The man of lawlessness is here. (The one the apostle Paul warned us would come, [2 Thessalonians 2]). He has set himself up in the temple of God as though he himself were God. We are told this must take place just prior to the Lord’s return to earth. So when we see this taking place, we, as believers in Jesus, should be happy about it.
…concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together in Him…that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of lawlessness (or man of sin), the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
In order to understand this passage, we need to understand who the man of lawlessness is and where the temple is. Many Christians take this passage literally by believing that one certain man, the Antichrist, will sit on a literal throne in a literal newly constructed Jewish temple in Jerusalem. However, if we understand that the temple God desires for himself is human beings, not a building made by human hands, and that the man of lawlessness, the Antichrist, is actually a spirit, then we can get a more accurate understanding.
Truthful reporting about what is happening in our cities reveals that Black Lives Matter and Antifa are not having peaceful demonstrations at all but are actually violently engaged in warfare to destroy our cities and law and order. These lawless ones are trying to set themselves up as ones (God) to rule and reign over the rest of humanity. These people are under a spirit straight from hell. It is the Antichrist spirit and he is reigning in their temples and attempting through them to destroy America, the last bastion of freedom in the world. How appropriate that this lawless one, as described in 2nd Thessalonians, is influencing governors, mayors and city councils to defund their police departments! If our cities have no police to keep law and order, then who will reign? The lawless one—the man of sin setting himself up as God.
These “demonstrations” that are actually riots are not about racial inequality. Americans elected a black president for two terms. That could only have happened because a lot of white people voted for him. There are black mayors, black police chiefs, black senators, black members of the House of Representatives and blacks in others positions of leadership and influence all over our nation.
The media keeps harping on racial inequality and blaming people for harboring racial prejudice where none exists. We need to understand and help others understand that they are doing this to divide Americans and stir up hatred. Divide and conquer is the enemy’s attempt to destroy this nation and take away our freedom of speech and practice of religion.
In Portland they have been burning Bibles in front of the courthouse. What do Bibles have to do with what happened to George Floyd? Absolutely nothing! What do Bibles have to do with peace, justice and righteous rule of law for all people? Everything!
In Nevada, merely a maximum of fifty people are allowed to meet for a church service, but casinos are only limited to 50% capacity. That means hundreds and even thousands can be together in a casino but only 50 in a church. To get around that, one church decided to hold a church service in a casino! It is obvious that this social distancing is not about safety but about control.
All these things are happening because people have rejected truth. To reject truth is tantamount to believing a lie. Think about it. We all have to believe something. If we reject the truth then we believe a lie. The lies these people believe are causing them to act in insane ways. They don’t even make sense. We see this clearly prophesied in our 2nd Thessalonians passage:
This coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. And for this reason, God will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
We can clearly see the strong delusion and the lies that were prophesied being acted out today before our very eyes. For example, the democrat leaders want to outlaw all guns, but at the same time they are defunding the police in their cities. By cutting their budgets, they are crippling their police. So people are supposed to live in cities with no police protection and with no firearms for their own protection. Of course the leaders who make these ridiculous laws have their own armed security guards that they pay for with tax-payers’ money. They don’t stop to think there won’t be any tax-payer money left because the people who pay the taxes are moving out of their cities! All that is left are the people who are too poor to leave—or to pay taxes!
Bill De Blasio, the mayor of New York City, led his city council to cut the police budget by $1 billion. As a result crime has escalated at an unheard of rate. Duhhh! People in droves are leaving NYC. (No guns allowed there for self-protection.) The Governor, Andrew Cuomo, has been begging people to return saying if they come back he will take them to dinner. (However, a lot of the restaurants have gone out of business because they were destroyed along with thousands of retail stores when De Blasio let the rioters do whatever they wanted in NYC.) You won’t see this on TV, but an enormous number of the very finest stores in Manhattan were destroyed by BLM and Antifa and the store owners have left NYC for good. (So much for their “peaceful” demonstrations!)
I watched an amazing video taken by a person driving up and down the streets of Manhattan showing all the boarded up stores. Street after street after street was nothing but boarded up stores—some of the finest stores in the world were destroyed. People came from all over the world to shop there. So the tax revenue and the money brought in through tourism is now gone forever. There is no fixing what happened there. It could have been stopped but the mayor refused all help and even welcomed BLM and Antifa to his city.
Then they put out videos telling people how to act when they are being robbed. Essentially they are saying, don’t resist. Just give the thugs whatever they want. Can you believe this nonsense? Do you find yourselves saying as my husband and I do, “These people are insane!”
They are insane because they believed not the truth as the Scripture says would happen.
Then we have famous sports figures refusing to honor America at the playing of the National Anthem before their games. These men are getting fabulously wealthy just for playing a game—something that could not have happened in any other country but the United States—and yet they hate our nation. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!
We can look at all the craziness that is going on all around us and be sad about it, or we can look at it from a biblical perspective and rejoice. Rejoice? Yes, because the Holy Spirit warned us that Jesus would not return until all these things took place.
Our cities are dens of iniquity. Our Almighty God is exposing this and those of us with eyes to see know that this is all happening according to prophecy regarding the return of His Son. He is coming to his people first and then they are going to go forth and minister to the ones who are left after all the judgment has been accomplished. We can’t minister to those who rejected the truth and are under a strong delusion. They won’t listen to us.
What we are seeing with these rioters and mayors allowing people into their cities to destroy them and use the streets for toilets is not just insanity—it is demonic and it is straight from hell. It is communism and it is Marxism—political belief systems that have resulted in the deaths of millions of people wherever they were instituted. More than that, it is an attempt by Satan to rule the world. He knows that Jesus Christ’s return is imminent and that he has very little time left. He is pulling out all stops in his plans to defeat Christ, plans that have been in operation in men of his choosing for centuries—men like Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Henry Kissinger and many others.
There has never been a nation like America. It was truly founded, not as a Christian nation, but by God-fearing men who gave us a governmental plan that, if followed, ensured us of a country where Christianity could thrive and people were truly free. We are in danger of losing this if God-fearing people don’t see what is going on and hit their knees in repentance and prayer.
The greatest protection we can have at this time is Truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” When strong delusion is taking over the minds of multitudes of people, we must be careful to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus by staying in his Word and looking to him for all things. If we sit around saturating our minds with the lies the TV media puts out and entertaining ourselves with the fantasy and subtle propaganda found in Hollywood movies and mindless television programs, we are in grave danger of having our own mind overcome by delusion.
In closing I want to share a prophecy from my prophecy file—something I found years ago and am unable to provide a source for, but I witness in my heart, that these words are true:
My people, you are entering a time like no other before it in the earth. I alone am able to prepare you for what is coming. Do not look to others for how you should prepare, look only to Me. There are many events and circumstances coming that no man can predict, for they are from My Hand.
In the time coming, great faith will be required of you, as things will not remain as they are. Systems that previously stood and worked for you will fail. Ways and means of living and providing will fail all over the world. I alone will be able to provide.
Some of you I shall exalt in this time, as you have shown yourselves faithful in My service. I will provide for these from My own Hand; however, much persecution shall arise against you through those who have no provision in this time.
Famines will abound. There is no way to store up food sufficient for this time. Your efforts to do so will be in vain. Thievery shall abound in this time, and those who have food stores shall lose them, and their lives in the process, trying to protect them. Rely on Me alone.
Few of you will have the faith required to survive for any length of time in this season, for your faith is too weak to rely only on Me. In attempting to rely on your own strength and planning, you will fail. If you will listen to wisdom, this will not be the case. Rely on Me alone.”
