Seeing God’s Message in the News

It seems like everywhere I went this past week people were asking, “Did you see the video of Joe B*den falling as he was attempting to climb the stairs into his plane?” As I was praying this morning, the thought came to me that the whole incident is prophetic in that all this man stands for is falling down and, although I didn’t hear the Lord say so, I believe it is happening now. Very soon we will see all the treason, fraud, extortion and other crimes committed by the Deep State exposed to the waiting world, and the justice we’ve all been hoping for will be administered.
As I was contemplating this, I opened my email where I found this message that had just come in from a friend, “I felt a solid peacefulness in the air today, like things are starting to shift toward the better behind the scenes, and that everything is perfectly in place as it needs to be. It was uniquely beautiful, and I felt the Divine Presence of God with us all.”
I believe this lady hears from God which is why I wanted to share it with my readers so we could all feel encouraged. Yesterday morning my husband said he had been dreaming all night. He couldn’t put in words all that he had seen in his dreams, but the general theme was that “justice is coming. It is at the door and we will soon see it.”
When it is obvious to the whole world that there is no justice available in America, even when there is overwhelming evidence that crimes worthy of death have been committed and yet no court in the land will even hear the evidence (election fraud and the Supreme Court), and when prisoners are being released from prisons into our society at large, and criminals and illegals are flowing over our boarders, it is obvious that the rule of law is gone and lawlessness abounds.
We are seeing evidence of this now as it is being reported that college students flocking to Florida on spring break are wreaking havoc on personal property ruining the very beaches they came to enjoy. However other reports are saying that provocateurs are inciting violence and making it look like the college students are to blame. Whatever is happening, some restaurants have had to board up their businesses to keep them from being destroyed by the revelers.
Then there are cities where whole sections of the city have been made off limits to police officers who have tried to protect people’s businesses and private property from “peaceful” protestors from BLM and Antifa. Those arrested for burning and looting businesses, when arrested, just get released and then are free to return to continue their mayhem with no punishment. Then the city council decides to reduce funding to the police and make their job even more difficult—so difficult that those who can choose to leave the police force.
In the midst of this, we must remember who our God is. We must trust in his written Word that he is who he says he is and that he will do what he says he will do. Multitudes of Christians and even non-Christians have been praying, crying out to God for the return of the rule of law.
As I read the Word, passages keep standing out to me that confirm that God is still on the throne and he is accomplishing something that will astound us all once we see what he has been doing. He is setting the stage for the return of his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Part of that preparation is bringing sin out in the open and exposing the character of our elected officials—but wait, maybe they were never elected at all! Maybe they were able to buy and bribe their way into public office so they could have fame, prestige and power—and, of course, get rich in the process. For some reason, congressmen and women earning a little over $100,000 per year leave office as millionaires. Go figure!
God is exposing and God is judging. I believe we will be astounded as we see our God move on the side of righteousness and godliness. Oh yes, one other thing God has been doing is building the faith of his people. This most often involves waiting.
Wait on the LORD;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Psalm 27:14, NKJV)
But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength;
they will mount up with wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
While we are waiting on the Lord it is always good to refresh our minds on the greatness of the One upon whom we are waiting.
He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth; its dwellers are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. He brings the princes to nothing and makes the rulers of the earth meaningless; No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner have their stems taken root in the ground, than He blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like stubble. (Isaiah 40:22-24, NKJV)
As we wait upon the Lord, he is working in his faithful ones preparing us for things to come. His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. It is the difficulties and disappointments of life that prepare us to stand in the evil day. We are going to see God’s justice executed righteously as he continues clearing out the Devil’s kingdom in preparation for the Kingdom of God. However, in the process we are going to be tried and all we are going through now is preparation to enable us to walk victoriously through the coming days. Not only will we walk victoriously but many will rise up into powerful ministries that will astound the world. Jesus said:
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. (John 14:12, NKJV)
There are several Old Testament passages that have been favorites of mine for decades. I believe we are about to see these come to pass. As God judges the wicked, righteousness shall abound. Great things lie ahead for the people of God, and they will spread out into all the earth to bless the peoples, set them free from their bondages and help them enter the kingdom of God.
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
2For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1,2 NKJV)
Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever. (Dan 12:3, NKJV)
“For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“That will leave them neither root nor branch.
But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,”
Says the Lord of hosts. (Mal 4:1-3)
May we all be encouraged as we remind ourselves of some of these scriptures. Our God is moving and working in the earth preparing the way for the coming of the Lord which I believe is already underway—we just don’t see the marvelous things God is doing quite yet. But we shall see, and we shall rejoice, and thank the God of heaven and earth that he chose us to be alive at this time!
Therefore encourage one another with these words.
